Opening it the first time

Dopamingo is made by an independent developer and isn't sold through an app store, so your computer asks you to confirm once. It takes about 20 seconds, and you won't be asked again.

🍎 On a Mac

  1. Open the downloaded file and drag Dopamingo into Applications.
  2. Open Dopamingo. When macOS says it can't verify the developer, click Done.
  3. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security and scroll down.
  4. Next to "Dopamingo was blocked", click Open Anyway, then confirm.

On older macOS: right-click Dopamingo in Applications, choose Open, then Open again.

🪟 On Windows

  1. Run the downloaded installer.
  2. If you see "Windows protected your PC", click More info.
  3. Click Run anyway. Dopamingo installs and opens.

Then: two clicks to your first focus block

Press Start a session, pick how long you have, and off you go. Want to see it first? The welcome tour has sample data you can play with.
