Privacy
Last updated 20 October 2026
The short version: the Dopamingo app keeps everything on your computer. We don't have an account system, we don't track how you use the app, and we never see your projects, tasks, habits or notes.
The app
- Your data (projects, tasks, habits, sessions, notes, settings) is stored in a database on your computer. It is never uploaded.
- The app has no analytics and no crash reporting.
- It goes online for two things only: checking your licence when you activate it and about once a month afterwards (it sends your licence key and a random ID for that computer), and checking for updates.
- You can export everything from Settings → Your data at any time. Deleting the app deletes your data.
Buying a licence
Purchases are handled by Whop, who process your payment, collect sales tax and email your licence key. Their privacy policy applies to that. We receive your email address and order details from Whop so we can support you, and we keep a list of up to 3 computer IDs (random, not linked to your hardware) per licence.
This website
- We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It uses no cookies and doesn't identify you.
- If you give us your email, we store it (with the page you signed up on) to send you updates about Dopamingo. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email, or by writing to us.
- The site and the licence server run on Cloudflare.
